My friend created a personal forum for him and his friends a good few years ago.

I've always been interested in helping people and accomplishing my personal goals. I saw forums as a great oppurtunity.

I suppose my tale first began when I joined a rather popular gaming based forum and loved the concept. I wanted to learn how to create one myself, and started on InvisionFree. Being just over 11 at the time, I didn't know enough to really get things kicking. A year or two break followed, and then I created a various collection of other freely hosted forums. Before I knew it I had paid hosting, a fancy domain, and a really neat idea. This resulted in my shared account being frozen due to unfair CPU usage (in essence, my forum "crashed" my server party). I didn't have the money to go elsewhere at the time, but a few years later I have a number of paid hosting accounts, 31 domain names at last count, and an every growing business. Not bad for 6 years with no official courses taken.

I wanna be like you lol gratz on all of your succes. Don't get too excited there are downsides as well. For one, I'm inside working opposed to hanging out with friends. That's another, I don't have "friends" anymore, just "connections". In other words, everyone I keep in contact with has a purpose and a use. It may be to bounce ideas off of, or to work out partnerships or the sort, but most everything is business. My girlfriend of a year and a half thinks I work a little "too" much sometimes as well. Life is what you make of it, the conclusions I've come to.
